Sam James Furniture is a furniture studio and workshop making high quality New Zealand designed furniture based in the Bay of Plenty. We strive to deliver quality over quantity. Working with some of New Zealand's top furniture designers and direct with clients to turn their ideas into beautifully crafted furniture.
I have been making furniture full time since 2011. Making over hundreds of pieces in this time so you can be assured with our quality and service.
We work with both industry professionals like interior designers and architects to bring their designs to life. Direct to the public with some of our own designs and ideas, As well as working closely with them if they are after something a little more custom.

We make Bathroom vanities, Dining tables, Coffee tables, Outdoor furniture, Entertainment units, Sideboards, Beds and Bedside tables, Timber bench tops etc...
Materials we work with. Birch plywood and the many laminates it comes with. All sorts of solid timbers and veneers including American Oak, American Ash, American walnut, Macrocarpa, Rimu and many more.
